Efficiency savings
We continually strive to make efficiency savings, which have been delivered through improvements to our processes and working practices.
Our innovative materials procurement initiative has contributed towards significant savings through a streamlined ordering and collection system.
In partnership with C & W Berry, we have developed a dedicated stock facility at the building merchant's 24-acre site for its 95 staff of trades-people. The 5,000 square feet warehouse is stocked and managed by C & W Berry, and is only accessible to Progress staff.
The initiative has improved efficiency and made considerable financial savings for the organisation, which are passed on to its Housing Association tenants. It has also enabled us to create local employment opportunties in the communties that we serve.
