The Volunteer Centre Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde is offering free volunteering courses. The short courses take place over five Friday afternoons betwen 2pm and 4pm.
Step Up to Volunteering
During the course the learners will look at:
- Their skills and qualities
- What are their barriers to volunteering and what/who could help them to overcome those barriers
- Rights and responsibilities of volunteers and organisations.
Volunteering Short Course
This short course provides a convient way to discover and recognise the work of volunteers. There are activities to build a portfolio which will help plan and review your volunteering experiences along with diaries to keep track of the work carried out and making the most of your volunteering.
The courses are accredited and everything will be provided for the volunteer to complete the course.
