Gas and Electrical Servicing


The group has a dedicated gas servicing and safety certification department. We employ our own Corgi qualified gas specialists who carry out testing, service and maintenance of gas fires and boilers. We service about 4,500 properties annually.

All tenanted properties must have gas appliances tested annually and it is the landlord’s responsibility to ensure this is done. However, the Government is now considering requiring every householder who uses gas to have gas boilers and fires inspected regularly.

Our external clients include other housing associations and private landlords.

Improved Service
Following consultation with tenant groups, we made significant changes to the way we notify our customers of scheduled gas servicing, which has resulted in higher customer satisfaction.
