Welcome to MyHomeChoiceFyldeCoast Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme. It is run by a partnership of six housing providers and three local authorities. The partners are Blackpool Coastal Housing, Blackpool Council, Fylde Borough Council, Great Places Housing Group, Muir Group, New Fylde Housing, Regenda, Places for People and Wyre Borough Council. This is known as a sub-regional choice based lettings scheme.
The aim of the scheme is to make the process of applying for a home simpler, and easier to understand. There is only one application form to complete, which gives you access to homes owned by all of the landlords involved in the scheme. It gives you more control over which homes you want to be considered for and enables you to access homes in more areas.
The key objective is to operate the same assessment policy that offers realistic choice for all and is easy to understand, transparent and fair. Available properties are advertised every week and applicants are encouraged to express their interest. This is known as placing a bid.
