My Tenant Zone

New Fylde Housing

Sheltered alarm system

The service provides an emergency call service to all sheltered tenants. Other elderly or infirm tenants can also arrange for it to be included in their homes. The system operates by using a two way speech system connected to the Helpline Control Centre using a telephone line.

Calls can be made to the Helpline by using a pull cord or pressing a button on a pendant worn by the tenant. A response will be made within moments and assistance from the emergency or medical services, a family member or friend will be arranged. The Helpline service maintains records of each tenant’s special contacts including GP and family members etc.

A dispersed Community Alarm can be installed at any property allowing any elderly or ‘at risk’ person help and reassurance in the home 7 days a week 24 hours a day. All that is required is a telephone socket and electric plug socket. The Community Alarm unit allows the reassurance of the Helpline service at the press of a pendant worn on the person. If it is an emergency, the Helpline Control Centre will get the right help to you as quickly as possible and let relatives know.
