Making an impact

Annual Resident Involvement Impact Assessment 2009/10

Introduction

The aim of this impact assessnent is to assess how effectively tenants have been involved in our work, and influenced outcomes, between April 2009 and March 2010. Each section of the Resident Involvement Statement will be assessed by what has occurred over the last year, and the outcomes achieved i.e. how this has led to an improvement in our services.

Overview

We are committed to using Resident Involvement as an integral component of decision-making on the services we provide. Some key aims contained within the statement have been met; however there are still some areas where future work will ensure further improvements are made.

A lot of positive work has been carried out during the year – the Sheltered Forum is now well established, along with the Disability Equality Forum and representation on the Residents’ Forum has significantly increased and is extremely well attended.

Regular monitoring and updating of the Resident Involvement Action Plan ensures tenants and residents are at the heart of the decision making process of New Fylde Housing.

Involvement statement

We are committed to working with our customers (whether tenants or leaseholders) to involve them as an integral partner in the running of our services and in the shaping of future ones.
