Clare House is a purpose-built women's refuge in Lancashire for women and their families escaping domestic abuse, Our women's refuge provides homes and support services for up to eight women and 16 children. In partnership with the local authority, Progress Care, a subsidary of Progress Housing Group, designed, built and furnished the refuge to provide homes for up to eight women and 16 children. The refuge is staffed and managed by Progress Care staff and includes qualified child support workers.
