Kirkham Juniors under 9’s football team are ready to put their best foot forward this season, thanks to sponsorship from Croft and Naze sheltered housing scheme in Freckleton and leading UK care and support provider, Care Watch.
The youngsters have been kitted out with brand new home and away kits through money raised by residents of the scheme and the supported care provider after holding various raffles, coffee mornings and £1 table sales. The total amount raised for the team was £450.
Liz Mercer, Scheme Manager at Croft and Naze sheltered scheme, said: “We are really proud and delighted to be sponsoring the Kirkham Juniors under 9’s. This is a fantastic opportunity for the kids and the local community and we will all be cheering them on."
Senior Carer at Care Watch, Sue Brooks, said: “The care team are privileged to be part of the community and look forward to following the lad’s progress.”
Chris Cooper, Manager of the Kirkham Juniors under 9’s was delighted with the new sponsorship: “The boys look wonderful, id really like to thank Croft and Naze Court and Care Watch and I hope we can make them proud.”
