NEW FYLDE HOUSING launches its annual regional garden competition for green-fingered tenants this week. More than £500 in prizes is up for grabs in a competition that grows with popularity each year.
Anyone living in a New Fylde property throughout the North West can enter the competition and there are categories to suit all types of gardens. Plus this year we are accepting nominations of neighbourhood gardens from friends and families.
Categories include containers, window boxes and hanging baskets; balconies, yards and gardens; communal areas; and vegetable or fruit patches.
There will also be a kids sunflower competition, with the tallest sunflower being awarded a prize. The closing date for entry is Friday 22nd July with judging taking place in August.For more information, contact New Fylde on 01253 642041.
