Progress Care Housing Association is a Registered Social Landlord providing supported housing to tenants across the United Kingdom. We own and manage over 600 homes, housing almost 1,800 tenants.
We have earned a national reputation for providing quality housing in the community for people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Our Development and Property Services sections adapt accommodation to
provide the most appropriate environment for a particular tenant. We
are keen to involve tenants and partner organisations in scheme design
and development.
We are committed to providing our tenants with quality housing
and support services that genuinely enhance their lives. We employ a
dedicated supported housing team that ensure that our day-to-day management
service is both efficient and sensitive to the needs of tenants and other
organisations. Our staff are able to give advice on rent levels, benefit
entitlements, funding and service management.
We also offer single and multiple shared ownership schemes to enable people with learning disabilties to own their own home. To read about our shared ownership schemes in detail please click here.
We have extensive experience of working with support agencies and service
commissioners to deliver housing and support that accurately reflect
the needs of service users.
In our model of working, the service commissioner is not tied to a particular
support agency. Progress Care does not seek to provide care, but we do
work effectively with others who do. This separation of care and support
allows greater flexibility and the possibility of making changes to future
service arrangements.
