Telecare offers a range of wireless sensors around the home that are designed to help people live safely, securely and independently in their homes.
The sensors activate an alarm via your telephone line when you have a problem in the home or when you may need help. The Control Centre monitors your alarm 24 hours a day. When the alarm is triggered, an operator will ask what help you need and make sure that you receive it. They will keep the line open until help arrives.
Telecare enables you to maintain your independence and dignity, whilst giving your family and carers the reassurance that help is on hand should you need it.
Our dedicated Control Centre in Leyland currently provides over 400 Telecare customers with help at the touch of a button 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. The Control Centre provides 24 hour emergency assistance and handles over 230,000 calls annually for Telecare, Helpline, Lifeline and other services. We are now the lead provider for Telecare in Central Lancashire.
We have a Telecare demonstration home in Leyland where you can view the full range of Telecare sensors in action. You can book a no obligation tour of our Smart Home by calling 01772 450600 or emailing Telecare@progressgroup.org.uk.
