If you would like to help improve the services we provide and the area you live in, here is the place to find out how you can get involved.

Our volunteer tenants carry out a vital role in checking the quality of the services we provide.  We are always on the lookout for more volunteers so if you would like to join us please contact our Customer Voice Team to find out more. We provide training on what to do for each role, so don’t let that put you off.

Progress Volunteers - Community

Our Community Volunteers carry out a monthly check of the area they live in to let us know how the area is looking, what is good and what could make an improvement to the area.

We use these comments to create actions to resolve immediate issues as well as helping to create improvement plans for the local area.

Progress Volunteers – Homes

Our Homes Volunteers help with quality checks on properties that are about to be let to new tenants.  Sometime this will be a visit to a property or a virtual check using video and photographs. They provide their comments on whether they would be happy to move to the property, what would make the property more attractive to new tenants.

Progress Volunteers – Talk Back

Our Talk Back Volunteers provide feedback on their experience when making contact with the Group by telephone or live chat.  Letting us know if their enquiry was resolved and if it was handled politely.

Tenants’ Voice – Improving Services

This group is made up of tenants from across the Group.  It completes reviews on different areas of the organisation to identify what we do well and make recommendations on improvements that could be made.

The groups carries out a range of activities when carrying out a review, including talking to Progress employees, finding out what other housing associations do, looking at performance information, talking with tenants about their experiences.

To find out more about this group visit Tenants' Voice - Improving Services (Our tenant-led scrutiny group) or please contact our Customer Voice Team.
