Scarecrow Competition

After the success of our Virtual Scarecrow Festival last year, we are pleased to announce that we’ll be running it again this year throughout July and August.

We would like to invite you to get creative and make your own scarecrow. You can use anything you have at home to make it, like old clothes, gardening gloves, and plant pots, garden canes, straw, or things from your recycle bin.

You might choose to make a traditional scarecrow or one inspired by your favourite character. You could even make a small scarecrow indoors, or make some scarecrow inspired art.

There will be prizes for the most creative entries. We can’t wait to see them all!

Send a photo of your scarecrow to to enter. All entries received between now and 4 September 2022 will be shown in our newsletters, social media, and website.
