Community involvement
Community involvement is about giving you the opportunity to have a say in the way that we provide your services.
We want you to get involved as much as possible as this helps us to improve how our services are run and makes our homes and communities better places to live.
You have the chance to influence decisions that affect your home, your housing association and your community.
We want as many people to get involved so that we can improve the way that our services are run.
Everyone is welcome to attend and get involved. There are no barriers to involvement.
There are lots of good reasons to get involved. Maybe there are areas of our service that you feel could be improved but you are not sure how to go about it, or maybe there are areas within your community that you feel are in need of development. You may simply wish to be more aware of what is going on in your community and ways in which you can influence this.
By working with us you can really make a difference to your local neighbourhood, improving your quality of life and strengthening community spirit where you live.
Attending meetings and events can also increase your skills and confidence - plus it’s a great way to meet new, like-minded people and it looks good on your CV.
We help with funding and support so our tenants can get involved, from covering transport costs to providing interpreters.
There are many different ways you can get involved depending on how much time you can spare. Responding to a questionnaire is just as valuable as attending a meeting to share your views and we appreciate every bit of help and input.
