Start 2018 with a new plan for you - we can help you in a number of ways, to gain employment, access education, training, volunteering, finding work experience or apprenticeships. We also offer confidential personal support for a range of issues. 


What is More Positive Together?

More Positive Together is a Lancashire-wide European Social Fund project which will help 2,250 people to improve their skills and employment prospects.

If you’re currently unemployed you could get a tailored programme of 1-to-1 mentoring, physical activity sessions, training courses, employment advice and work experience opportunities – designed to boost confidence, improve wellbeing and increase the chances of you getting a job.

A helping hand

You’ll work with a mentor who’ll assess your needs, help you identify and overcome any barriers to employment, as well as giving you opportunities to develop new skills and valuable work experience.

Positive experiences

Your support plan will be tailored to your needs but could include:

  • Sport and physical activities
  • Environmental skills
  • IT,literacy and numeracy training
  • Work experience placements
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Help with applying for jobs

The first drop in session is on Wednesday 3 January, then Tuesday 9, 16, 23, 30 January from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
