W/c 19 September is National Work Life Balance week and to mark this, we have organised two training sessions to help you achieve what can sometimes seem an unlikely task.
Both sessions are delivered by Lancashire Adult Learning College.
Balance your life
- Wednesday 21 September, 10am-12pm at The Place community centre, Leyland
- Friday 23 September - 10am-12pm at Saltcotes community centre, Lytham
Maintaining a healthy life balance is not only essential for happiness and well-being; it can be a tremendous boost to your productivity and career or business success as well. A well-balanced person has a far greater ability to focus their attention and energy on attaining their goals, taking productive actions and moving forward in a meaningful way.
This taster session will help you to identify what a balanced life should look like whilst also exploring how it is we can go about gaining back control and achieving in the midst of a busy and hectic lifestyle.
Relax and de-stress
- Thursday 22 September - 10am-12pm at Sumner House, Leyland
- Friday 23 September - 1-3pm at Saltcotes community centre, Lytham
Relax and De Stress is an ideal course for you if you would like to Relax and De Stress both physically and mentally in a calming peaceful environment.
The Relax and De Stress course will help you to unwind, release physical tension, and let go of anxiety and stress. Your teacher will guide you through activities that will gently ease your body and still your mind. Simple breathing techniques, gentle stretching, and activities to help energy flow freely, are combined with visualization techniques and soothing music to help bring about a sense of deep relaxation which will elevate your mood and induce a sense of calm and general wellbeing.
This taster session will provide you with an opportunity to experience how Relax and De Stress can benefit your health and wellbeing, and recognise how it may have the potential to improve your life.
