Many people are affected by Dementia and Alzheimer's in one way or another. A family member, a loved one, or even a neighbour may be experiencing such conditions that can cause memory loss and other symptoms alongside it.

Wednesday 21 September is World Alzheimer's Day, and to raise awareness we are holding a special event free for you, our tenants, to attend.

From 2pm we will introduce a Dementia Friend, who will talk about what it can be like for those with Alzheimer's and Dementia, and talk about the stereotypes that can sometimes be associated with it.

From 3pm, Trouble at the Mill, will encourage you into a sing song to show how singing can be beneficial for those with Alzheimer's and Dementia.

World Alzheimer's Day event - Wednesday 21 September, 2-4pm at Bridge Court independent living scheme, Fir Trees Avenue, Lostock Hall, PR5 5UB.

Everyone is welcome!
