Those living in Lancashire are being encouraged to use technology to join in online meetings with their housing provider, Progress Housing Group.

Progress Housing Group will be running a series of live Q&A session on its social media sites about the housing services it provides.

The sessions will take place over the next couple of months and will be in addition to its regular public engagement events.

The idea of the live Q&A sessions is so that those who are unable to attend meetings will still have a chance to have their say.

The next Q&A session will take place on Wednesday 14 October from 6pm – 7pm on the housing group’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/ProgressStreetTalk where local residents will be able to engage with the housing group’s Head of Community Safety, Linda Alcock, and raise any concerns they may have on anti-social behaviour in their area.

We are keen to ensure that everyone in our communities has the opportunity to engage with us. I will be ready to take questions on community safety during the online Q and A session and urge anyone with a question to get online and get in touch. Linda Alcock, Head of Community Safety at Progress Housing Group

Sian Coulton, Senior Community Involvement Manager at Progress Housing Group, said: “We are keen to find out what people think of the services we provide and listen to suggestions for improvements. Our Q&A session will cover community safety as well as all housing related subjects, such as how to get involved, reporting repairs and rent arrears.

“If you have a question, please take part and we will answer your questions.”
