Residents at a recently completed affordable housing development in St Annes, Lancashire have been handed the keys and welcomed into their new homes.

Lancashire-based Progress Housing Group is celebrating the completion of the 14 affordable new homes on Lord Street, all of which have now been let.

The £1.3 million development was part-funded using grant from the Homes and Communities Agency, with support from Fylde Borough Council and was built by Windmill Holdings Ltd and BRIMAS Construction Ltd.

The housing development, which has helped to transform the local area, has replaced part of a printing warehouse, which was formerly owned by the Oldroyd Publishing Group Ltd with six two-bedroom and eight one-bedroom apartments.

“These newly completed properties on Lord Street are providing much-needed affordable housing in St Annes. The apartments have all been finished to a high standard and have been snapped up very quickly with all of the properties now occupied. We hope that our residents will be very happy in their new homes.” Vicki Appleton, Progress Housing Group’s Operations Director of Development
