Celebrate with us at our Cultural Exchange event on Saturday 28 September
Progress Housing Group invites you to join them for a day of culture, cuisine and entertainment
Progress Housing Group would like to welcome you to join them at their very first cultural exchange event in Leyland on Saturday 28 September from 11am to 3pm at Leyland Methodist Church to celebrate the variety and diversity of our local communities.
Featuring cuisine and entertainment from a variety of different countries as well as locally in Lancashire, this free event offers a fantastic opportunity to exchange stories, food, crafts and music from around the world.
The day will also offer children’s activities including face painting, balloon modelling, games, activities, and performances from local groups and artists.
Tammy Bradley, Deputy Executive Director at Progress Housing Group said,
Progress Housing Group values the diversity of all our customers and staff, and our cultural exchange event will provide the perfect opportunity to celebrate and share culture and traditions, and bring together the cultural diversity of our local communities.
Diane Nash, Community Involvement Manager at Progress Housing Group added,
This is the first time we have held an event of this kind and I am thrilled that so many people from our local community have come forward to join in. It will be a family-oriented, fun and informal day, with something new for all ages to try.
