We are desperately short of craft materials and colouring books for our women and children at our refuges and our young people in our four homelessness schemes. If you would like to help, we would be very grateful.

We all know how getting lost in a craft activity is good for the mind but for our children living in our refuges, it can be immensely therapeutic to help them deal with the trauma. The women in our refuges and our young people in our homelessness schemes are also finding colouring and crafting a great way to deal with anxiety and stress during lockdown.

We have set up an Amazon gift list where you can buy something from as little as 79p that would help make a difference. Visit the wishlist by clicking the link herehttps://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/3T0Z8N5JV8BIG?

[Please note, although we are grateful for the offer of toys, clothes, etc., we currently only have the space to store the items on the list above.]

Thank you!

How to Buy From an Amazon Wishlist

Below is a simple (we hope!) step by step guide on how to buy a gift from an Amazon wishlist. When you buy from one of our wishlists, the gifts are sent directly to the person we are helping, but their address is kept private. (NB: This guide assumes you already have an Amazon account. If you don't, you will need to set up an account with Amazon, which you can do here).

Step 1. Choose a gift from the list and click 'Add to Basket'

2. When you have finished adding the items you wish to buy to your basket, click 'Proceed to Checkout'

3. You will now be in the checkout screen, which asks you where you want the gift delivered to. Please choose the 'Gift Registry Address' and then click on the 'Use this address' button and select Sumner House.

4. You now have the option of adding a note for the person you are sending the gift to - it will be printed on the packing slip free of charge. After you have chosen your gift options, click 'Save gift options and continue'.

5. Now just choose your payment method and finish checking out, as you would with any other Amazon purchase!

Thank you so much for wanting to help! If you have any issues with your Amazon account, please contact Amazon directly.
