Finalist Sarah recognised for customer champion approach in regional awards
Progress Housing Group's Community Housing Officer, Sarah Raynor-Duke, has been announced as a finalist in the Lancashire Business View Sub 36 Awards.
The Sub36 Awards showcase Lancashire's most influential, innovative and inspiring young business people.
Sarah has been shortlisted in the Customer Champion category, which recognises those who demonstrate a 'customer-first' approach and go above and beyond for their customers.
Sarah will take part in an interview via Zoom on Wednesday 23 September where she will be talking to the judges about her role as a Community Housing Officer for the Group and how she supports customers with a variety of issues, from helping them with hoarding and financial difficulties to neighbour disputes and health issues to name just a few.
On being shortlisted Sarah, said,"I am honoured just to have been nominated for this award. It has helped me to recognise just how far I have come in this role in a such short space of time and the difference I can make to our customers to improve their lives."
Sarah received nominations from Progress Housing Group's Neighbourhoods Manager Carina Lynch, as well as Justine Green, Strategic Corporate and Partnerships officer at South Ribble Borough Council, who has worked closely with Sarah to support vulnerable tenants in South Ribble.
Justine adds, “Sarah really has made our job much easier; taking responsibility on so many cases and providing the best service to many vulnerable tenants, never letting anyone fall through the cracks. Sarah has built strong relationships with tenants because of her knowledge and reliability and the care she provides to them in their homes. And professionals know they can trust her.”
In addition to a winning trophy, Sub36 winners will also gain access to a bespoke personal and business development growth mentoring programme. The unique opportunity matches the winners with sponsors and judges of the event giving them access to leaders who have years of experiencing in running successful businesses.
Sarah will find out if she has been successful at the Sub36 virtual awards on Thursday 22 October.
Good luck Sarah!
