Meet the team behind the scenes - Development at Progress Housing Group
A spotlight on development at Progress Housing Group
The Development Team is responsible for the delivery of new homes for the whole of Progress Housing Group from shared ownership in Kendal to supported living as far south as Devon, and all the in-betweens.
Our development plans for the Group are ambitious; we aim to develop 1000 new homes over the next five years.
Despite a few delays to the start of 2020 due to Covid-19, our Development Team is extremely pleased to be back on our sites with our partners and contractors, working in line with government guidance to advance our ambitious development plans.

What does the remainder of 2020 have in store for development?
Our focus remains on providing social rented homes to help people who are least able to find a home on the open market. Our new homes will be for affordable rent and shared ownership, as well as supported living accommodation and independent living for older people.
Watch out for our regular 'development of the month', our numerous handovers and our affordable rent and shared ownership completions.
We will continue to share progression at our various sites on the Progress Housing Group website and our social channels.
Our focus will also be on our customer satisfaction and our tenant and new home-owner experience, to ensure that we continue to have a positive impact on people and communities by providing high quality homes, supporting independence and creating opportunities.
This is an exciting time for development at Progress Housing Group and we look forward to sharing our journey with you.
