We have been writing to tenants to advise our customers of an upcoming valuation.

The valuations will take place between 23 November 2020 - 31 January 2021, and some properties will need to be inspected, externally only.

The valuations, which will be undertaken by Jones Lang LaSalle, Chartered Surveyors, on a selection of properties in order to meet our financial requirements. This is to update our lending information. We have no intention of selling your property or changing your tenancy as a result of the inspection.

Please note that this is not an inspection to highlight repair issues and repairs should continue to be reported to us in the usual way.

Jones Lang LaSalle will be making visits between 23 November 2020 - 31 January 2021 and will be calling on some tenants to view their properties, externally only. The surveyors will not enter your home to view your property internally, and will follow COVID-19 Government guidelines at all times to maintain social distancing.

The surveyors will not call on everyone. If a tenant is not in when they call, they will not leave a card or call back, but will visit another property instead. Tenants do not need to wait in or to make any special arrangements around this time.

However, if tenants are at home when the surveyors call, we have asked if they could co-operate in giving them access to their home externally. The inspection (which may include taking photographs) will last only a few minutes.

Progress Housing Group staff are aware of these inspections taking place.

The surveyors will carry Jones Lang LaSalle company identification and a copy of the Progress Housing Group letter which has been sent to tenants.
