We have been writing to tenants to advise our customers of an upcoming valuation.
The valuation will take place between 3 - 21 February 2020, and some properties will need to be inspected.

The valuations, which will be undertaken by Jones Lang LaSalle, Chartered Surveyors, need to be undertaken on a selection of properties in order to meet our financial requirements.

Please note that this is not an inspection to highlight repair issues and repairs should continue to be reported to us in the usual way. These inspections will not lead to any change to tenancies or rent.

Jones Lang LaSalle will be making visits from 3 - 21 February 2020 and will be calling on some tenants to view properties internally.

The surveyors will not call on everyone. If a tenant is not in when they call, they will not leave a card or call back, but will visit another property instead. Tenants do not need to wait in or to make any special arrangements around this time.

However, if tenants are at home when the surveyors call, we have asked if they could co-operate in giving them access to their home. Their inspections (which may include taking photographs) will last only a few minutes, and homes will not be disturbed.

Progress Housing Group staff are aware of these inspections taking place.

The surveyors will carry Jones Lang LaSalle company identification and a copy of the Progress Housing Group letter which has been sent to tenants.
