Progress Housing Group is delighted to share the news that earlier this month Investors in People conducted an assessment of the Group as part of our three-year IIP review and we have now received notification that we have successfully achieved the ‘We invest in people standard’.

Our investors in people assessment was a great opportunity for us to hear from our employees and we’ve learnt a lot from what we were told.

Our Assessor, Andrew Mackey, said that feedback from the interviews was incredibly positive, “I was so impressed with how people responded, given the current situation. People clearly feel a great sense of pride in working for Progress and gave very positive feedback in most areas”.

The assessment provided an opportunity for colleagues to share their feelings about how the organisation is dealing with the current COVID-19 crisis and how we have responded so far, with a number of employees commenting how everyone has pulled together and that the organisation was making good use of skills and knowledge in the business, with the open and honest response from the Group to its employees also being noted.

The full assessor’s report will now form part of the Group’s action plans and people strategies so that we can keep making changes, keep improving and keep moving forward!

The IIP accreditation is a great achievement and Progress Housing Group wants to thank all of its employees for their contribution, support and team work.

The Investors in People framework introduces continous improvement and employee recognition. Seven million people are working in organisations accredited by Investors in People.
