​Soup Dragon funding for community groups goes virtual for 2021!

The Soup Dragon's Den is our own take on the popular TV show 'Dragons' Den' and is an innovative way for voluntary, community and faith sector (VCFS) groups and charities to access funding from our Community Investment Fund. It is aimed at small local community groups who need a small amount of funding to help them get going, or to grow their project to reach more people.

This year, due to the COVID-19 restrictions to help stop the spread of the virus, the application process has gone digital and the Soup Dragon event has an exciting new virtual format with applicants presenting their pitch via Zoom in front of a live virtual audience!

Just like previous years, the winning applicant will receive up to £1000 with the remaining applicants receiving contributions to the funding requested.

The deadline for applications is 11 April 2021 and the virtual Soup Dragon's Den event will take place on 13 May 2021 at 6 pm. Free tickets for the Dragon's Den Zoom event are available from Eventbrite by clicking here.
