We are delighted to be shortlisted for two awards in this year’s Housing Heroes Awards!

The Housing Heroes Awards celebrate the leaders, innovators and changemakers across the housing sector, shining a light on the incredible work carried out by teams and individuals for their tenants and communities.

Progress Housing Group’s Director, Robert Porter, has been shortlisted in the Inspirational Leader of the Year category after being nominated by the Group’s housing management team.

The Group’s employment and skills service, Progress Futures, has also been shortlisted in the Team of the Year (Housing Association) category for their work supporting the Group’s tenants into education, employment and training.

Robert, who is responsible for all housing management services relating to the Group’s general needs and independent living, leaseholders and shared ownership portfolio, as well as all the services provided within Progress Connect and Progress Futures, said: “It is an honour to be shortlisted for this prestigious housing sector award, and I’m really delighted, as well as humbled. It’s especially meaningful to me to have been nominated by my colleagues within our housing management teams at Progress.

“I’m thrilled that our Progress Futures Team has also been recognised for their inspirational work supporting our tenants and people in our communities into training and employment opportunities. They make such a difference providing life changing opportunities for people living in the communities that we serve.”
