Progress Housing Group is delighted to be named one of the top 30 digital housing providers by UK housing sector online publication Housing Digital.

The Lancashire-based housing group was recognised by the Housing Digital awards judges for its digital transformation work over the past 12 months and for having “a good foundation and activities in place to embed digital thinking.”

Amanda Van Duyvenvoorde, Operations Director (Digital Services) at Progress Housing Group said, “Despite the unique challenges faced due to the impact of COVID-19 over the past year, we are very proud that we have continued to advance our digital transformation plans including growing our online customer portal and engaging with customers through video conferencing.

“We are incredibly pleased to have been recognised as a top digital provider in the housing sector, and this is testament to the hard work and innovative thinking of our colleagues and our partners across the Group.

“The next 12 months will see the Group embark on a further journey of digital change to improve services for our tenants and customers, including the continued rollout of digital tenancy agreements, a revamp of the Group website and further enhancement of our customer portal.”

The online housing publication Housing Digital formally launched in July 2020 and, in January 2021, it set out to find the top 30 digitally enabled social housing providers at the forefront of digital initiatives and transformation in the sector.

Described as “a new voice in housing”, the publication offers the latest UK housing news, providing cutting-edge commentary on key issues and developments, while encouraging interaction and collaboration within the wider housing community.
