Thank you to Wilma, who organised a Wear it Pink coffee and cake fundraiser at Old Mill Court in Walmer Bridge.

Tenants baked delicious cakes and treats, raising a fantastic £176 for Breast Cancer Now, which was then matched funded by Progress Housing Group’s Charity Fund, to a total of £352.

The Progress Charity Fund supports the fundraising activities of colleagues, tenants and customers. Applications can be made to the Charity Fund to match the money raised, up to a value of £1,000 per fundraising activity.

Suzanna Denham, Old Mill Court Scheme Manager, said: “The ladies raised £176 for Breast Cancer Now with their Wear it Pink coffee and cake morning. We also received a special guest appearance from Lancashire County Council South Ribble West Councillor Graham Gooch, who was happy to join us for a photo.”
