We are delighted to share with you our annual performance summary, showing what's been happening in the world of repairs and maintenance at Progress Housing Group over the past year (April 2021 – March 2022).

For example, our team has carried out:

  • 42,145 responsive repairs
  • 5,490 out of hours repairs
  • 8,949 emergency repairs
  • 656 empty home refurbishments

Despite the ongoing impact of the global pandemic, we have been working with our partner contractors to continue to deliver a high standard of repair services to our tenants and customers.

We've had to adapt the way we work along the way, but we have continued to deliver repairs, compliance and improvement programmes to our tenants and customers and we are very proud of our achievements.

In the past year, we spent more than £30 million on repairs and maintenance services, keeping our tenants and customers safe and secure in their homes and investing in our homes to meet our customer expectations.

Over the next five years we have plans to spend £115 million on repairs and improvements and a further £20million of environmental works.

Whilst we are very proud of our achievements, we do acknowledge that there's still work to do and we have a backlog of responsive repairs that we weren't able to deliver last year – rest assured we're working hard to recover our position and hope to clear this by the end of the first quarter of this year (by 30 June 2022).

As things return to normal, we'd like to say a huge thank you to all our hardworking colleagues and of course our tenants and customers for their support over the past two years.
