Work on upgrading paths and roads in Lower Lane has begun
We are thrilled to tell you that work on upgrading the roads and pathways on the Lower Lane estate has begun.
Part of this will involve creating driveways for tenants in Tudor Drive, which will hopefully ease parking issues.
In preparation for this project, members of the Fylde East Area Housing Team and the Caretaking Team came together to have a tidy up on the Lower Lane estate.
It was a sunny day and the teams worked tirelessly filling two skips and litter picking the whole estate.
Louise Rafter, Area Housing Manager for Fylde East, said: "It's great that we are investing into this estate and upgrading the roads and pathways. Part of the project is also helping to alleviate the parking issues we have at Tudor Drive in the middle of the estate by putting in driveways. This has been welcomed by the residents who cannot wait for their own parking spaces."
The roads and pathways upgrade is expected to finish by the middle of August.
