Affordable holiday activities over the summer holidays
The summer holidays can fill many parents with anxiety as they struggle with childcare or finding affordable activities.
If you are looking for affordable activities to keep children safe and occupied over the summer holidays, many local councils are holding Holiday and Activities Food (HAF) programmes.
Three of our community centres are taking part:
- Lower Lane Community Centre, Freckleton - 10am until 2pm
Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday:
Wednesday 23 August to 25 August to Friday
Outdoor sports play, indoor games and craft. Lunch provided.

Tuesdays and Fridays - Holiday and Activities Food (HAF) programme*

The community cafe is open on Mondays, 10am until 4.30pm and the community shop is open Wednesdays. The drop in session is also running on Thursdays.
- The Place, Wade Hall, Leyland
Holiday and Activities Food (HAF) programme running every Tuesday and Wednesday from 25 July 1.30pm to 5.30pm.
The centre provides an evening meal. Places will fill quickly so if you want to guarantee your places complete a booking form online: www.southribble.gov.uk/HAFTimetable
