We recently received the keys to 23 new homes in Warton, Lancashire.

The homes are part of a new, larger 100-unit housing development named Mill Green, located off Lytham Road in Warton, in partnership with housing developer Anwyl Homes.

We have acquired 30 houses on the site as part of a Section 106 agreement, of which 10 will be shared ownership and 20 homes for affordable rent.

Dan Griffiths, Director of Development for Progress Housing Group, said, "These new high-quality houses for affordable rent and shared ownership will provide wonderful homes for local families and couples, and we look forward to receiving the final seven properties over the next few months.

"This development is another mark of our commitment to providing affordable homes for people to call home, enjoy living in and feel proud of." 

Ten of the homes, six affordable rent and four shared ownership, will include extra design specifications to help future proof the homes.  These include an intercom blank plate in the entrance hall, extra size joist in the bathroom for a hoist, racking wall in the bathroom suitable for grab rails, additional space in the lounge area for a through floor lift and a dip under the bath panel in preparation for a wet room.  These additions will enable the properties to be more easily adapted if any of these items are required in the future.
