Our grounds maintenance work is back on track
Our grass-cutting and grounds maintenance programme is now running on schedule.
Earlier this year, we reviewed how we deliver these services to you and as a result entered into a new contract with a company called Nurture.
We thank you for your patience whilst we experienced initial delays in getting the new arrangements fully operational.
We appreciate your support as tenants are telling us they are happy with Nurture’s work.
Julie said: “Nurture has done a good job on our gardens. They cleared my front and emptied a neighbour’s bin. I saw them trimming edges and pulling up weeds. It is the best it has ever been since I have been here.”
Another tenant said: “I am grateful for the thorough job that the contractors have done. The site is looking good.”
Meanwhile, Andrew was happy for his grass not to be cut for No Mow May as he tweeted: “Some people see weeds, others see beauty. Thank you @ProgressHG for the delay in grass-cutting this Spring. I have reassured neighbours of No Mow May. Nurture are good but our front garden was left by request.”
Paul Norton, Leasehold and Contracts Manager at Progress Housing Group, said: “We thank you for your patience while our grounds maintenance programme restarted.
It had initially taken more time than we hoped to get new arrangements in place with our new contractor Nurture.
But we are up to date on all our site visits, and tenants are seeing a difference in their areas.
We will continue to respond promptly to any requests or feedback about the ground maintenance work.
We thank Nurture for their achievements over the past few months. We look forward to maintaining our strong working relationship with Nurture to keep our green spaces looking brighter and tidier.”
