Progress Housing Group receives RoSPA Gold Medal for health and safety
We are delighted to announce we have achieved a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Medal.
The Gold Medal is awarded to organisations that have received the RoSPA Gold Award for five - nine consecutive years; this year marks our 5th consecutive Gold Award.
The key criteria that the judges evaluated us on included:
- How we manage health and safety
- Accident, incident and near miss statistics
The RoSPA awards are one of the most prestigious and recognised health and safety schemes in the world with almost 2,000 entries every year from more than 50 countries. Running for nearly 70 years, RoSPA recognises and rewards organisations, individuals and teams that go above and beyond to achieve health and safety excellence.
Ashleigh Williams our Health and Safety Manager, said: “This is a great achievement for Progress Housing Group and our subsidiaries, Key Unlocking Futures and RWP (Reside with Progress) and one we are all be extremely proud of. We take pride in providing a safe and secure workplace for our employees, tenants and customers and this award is testament to that.”
RoSPA’s Achievements Director, Julia Small, said: “Accidents at work and work-related ill health don’t just have huge financial implications or cause major disruption – they significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. That’s why good safety performance deserves to be recognised and rewarded.
We are thrilled that Progress Housing Group has won a RoSPA Award and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.”
