Hennel House is an Independent Living scheme situated in Walton Le Dale. The scheme comprises of 32 one bedroom flats and bungalows, each have their own lounge, bathroom and kitchen. The scheme is ideally located close to Walton Le Dale's convenience shop.
The scheme benefits from a non-resident Independent Living Co-Ordinator service to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents to provide a link with doctors, families, friends and support services. There are a wide range of optional social activities at the scheme ranging from bingo and coffee mornings to a lunch club and day trips. Residents have access to a computer with internet access and can take advantage of regular visits from the hairdresser. Excellent transport links to Chorley, Preston and other neighbouring towns.
Weekly rent & service charges advertised include:

Applicants aged between 50-59 yrs. will need to be assessed to determine eligibility.
This property is unfurnished and has some carpets which were left in by the previous occupant. A decoration allowance is available on request.
Rent is required to be paid at the start of tenancy.
Total rent figure = £129.83 per week. Comprises of £81.47 rent plus £48.36 service charges. Service charge figures include a supported service charge of £7.59 and £8.25 weekly personal heating/hot water charge.
Remaining service charges are eligible for local authority subsidy for those entitled to Housing Benefit.
