Tenants' Voice - Improving Services group scrutiny update - December 2025
Our Tenants’ Voice – Improving Services group met in December 2025 to talk about ways to make services better for everyone.
Here is a summary of what they discussed:
- Communal areas: Tenants talked about access to communal areas and how standards can be maintained.
- Tenant communications: Tenants talked about ways to make automated letters clearer and more consistent.
- Website feedback: Tenants suggested ways to make it easier to find and report complaints and compliments on the website.
- Repairs and maintenance: Our pilot to offer Saturday morning appointments is proving popular, so we are extending this trial project until January. We found that our recent tenant engagement sessions provided great feedback and so we have more sessions planned. Tenants looked at the improved information about what to expect when you are having your kitchen and bathroom upgraded.
- Tenant Satisfaction: Tenants reviewed our recent Tenant Satisfaction Survey results.
- Operational updates: The group talked about ways to improve stock management and encourages tenants to share practical solutions.
- Board reporting: The group provides quarterly reports to the board and invites tenants to attend meetings and give feedback directly.
Next meeting: The next Tenants’ Voice meeting will be at Sumner House, King Street, Leyland, in February 2026. The exact date will be confirmed soon.
